Moxie was created by lifelong friends Edward, Renee, and Suzi—three people who share a true love for old fashioned brick-and-mortar retail, where touching, feeling, and experiencing beautiful products is part of the joy.
With deep Bainbridge roots and decades of experience in beauty, retail, design, and customer care, we’re passionate about great products, great people, and exceptional service.
Many years ago, Renee asked a store owner how she kept her customers coming back and the reply was,
"They never know what they'll find. I buy what I love."
That philosophy stuck with Renee and is a guiding principle at Moxie.

Renee
Renee left her Bainbridge roots to chase her dream in New York City and built a successful career in the cosmetics industry—first as a makeup artist, then as an educator and sales leader mentoring other artists. Along the way, she also discovered a passion for jewelry design, interior design, and personal styling. Now back home, Renee brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and expertise to MOXIE, finding true joy in helping others feel more confident, beautiful, and authentically themselves.
Suzi
Suzi has rediscovered her love for retail after spending much of her career in dentistry, bringing with her an incredible attention to detail and a heart for people. She keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes while creating a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere in the store. Known for never meeting a stranger, Suzi thrives on building connections and making every customer experience feel fun, friendly, and memorable.
